Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the surviveTheTalk app. By using the app, you agree to these Terms. surviveTheTalk is operated by Walid Guetarni. For any question, contact guetarni.walid@gmail.com.

What the app is

surviveTheTalk lets you practise spoken English by holding voice conversations with AI-generated characters in simulated scenarios. The characters, their voices, and their replies are all AI-generated — they are not real people. Scenarios are simulated confrontation and roleplay created for language practice; they are fictional. Scenarios that contain more intense content are preceded by a content warning in the app.

Who can use it

You must be at least 13 years old (App Store) / 12 and over per PEGI (Google Play) to use surviveTheTalk.

Free use and subscription

Free — without a subscription you get 3 free calls in total (a one-time lifetime allowance).
Subscription — a single weekly plan at $1.99 USD per week, auto-renewable (product identifier stt_weekly_199). Subscribers get 3 calls per day.

Your subscription automatically renews each week at $1.99 USD until you cancel it. The renewal is charged through your Apple or Google account.

Cancellation

There is no in-app cancel button. You manage and cancel your subscription through the platform store:

Apple: Settings → your name → Subscriptions.
Google: Play Store → Subscriptions.

Auto-renewal continues until you cancel it there. If you delete your surviveTheTalk account, that does not cancel an active store subscription — you must also cancel it in the store.

Payments

All payments are processed entirely by Apple or Google. surviveTheTalk does not receive, see, or store any card or payment data. We only store a store-issued receipt / purchase token used to confirm that your subscription is valid.

Acceptable use

Use the app for personal language practice. Do not attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or abuse the service or its infrastructure.

Disclaimer

The app is provided "as is" for language-practice purposes. Conversations are fictional roleplay and are not advice of any kind. AI responses can be inaccurate. To the extent permitted by law, surviveTheTalk is provided without warranties, and the operator is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from its use.

Account deletion

You can delete your account at any time from inside the app (Account → Delete my account); see the Privacy Policy for what deletion removes.

Changes to these Terms

If these Terms change materially, we will update the effective date above and publish the revised version at this URL.
